    1. Thank you, Kathryn! The questions posed by Kelly from CCP had me think about how I work, my history and what I do.

  2. What a wonderful, informative interview, Kittie. You are one of my favorite artists and whether you know it or not...I think you definitely have your own style. I know instantly
when I see one of your paintings that it's yours. They just speak to me through the vibrant colors and expert technique of your paintbrush. Mmmmmm.....they are fabulous!

  3. Golly, Gail, I didn't know how much you cared! (laughing).
It's hard for me to recognize that I have a style. I'm glad that you do though! I, in turn, think you are a wonderful painter and would like to see more of your work. I've searched but couldn't find a website for you.

  4. No...I don't have a website! I don't feel I'm ready for that! You mentioned Shirley Pettibone in the article and I googled her to see her work. I found a few sites that had some of her beautiful paintings, but I didn't find much info on her. Does she live in the Los Angeles area and does she still teach? I can see her influence on your style, but I like your painting so much better!

  5. I hope you will do a website soon to share your beautiful work with others.
Shirley Pettibone's website link is on the right side of my blog in "favorite links". I thought of her as my mentor and took workshops with her over a period of six or seven years. What a talent! Her work really influenced me with her detail of nature subjects. I was devastated when she died last year.
