Art Vending Machines
Today in the L.A. Times there is an article about the City of Newhall, CA debuting it's new Art2Go vending machine. For depositing $10. the machine will dispense a small, original piece of art such as an oil or watercolor painting or a tile piece.

At first I couldn't figure out how a machine would make original art, but then read the article and I think it's a pretty cool idea! I certainly would love to have a mini Kathleen Ballard painting for $10. Heck I'd pay a lot more than that for one!
